You can organise your library without leaving Orfeo: create folders, move songs between them, hide files you don’t need and undo a move you regret. Every change happens in your real folders on disk, so Windows Explorer shows the same structure.

Create folders and move files
To | Do this |
Create a folder | Select one or more files and click New folder at the top of the Library. The folder is created with those files in it. |
Move files into a folder | Drag the selected files onto the folder, or right-click and choose Move to folder. |
Move files back to the root | Right-click and choose the option to move them out of their folder, or drag them onto the library root. |
Undo a move | Right-click the file and choose Undo move, or undo all moves into a folder from the folder’s menu. Available until you close Orfeo. |
Rename a folder | Right-click the folder and choose Rename. |
Delete a folder | Right-click an empty folder and choose Delete. Move its files out first; Orfeo never deletes songs. |
The Orfeo folders that hold your saved versions are protected: their menu only offers Open in Explorer, so versions can’t be moved or renamed by accident.
Hide and restore files
To hide the three included demo songs, turn off Show demo content in Setup or in Settings → MIDI Files & Library. They aren’t deleted; turn it back on to show them again.
