Orfeo is made by one developer and is free for everyone, with no accounts and no paid support tiers. Questions, bug reports and ideas are all welcome, and this page shows the best way to send each of them.

We only use it to reply to you.
Shown at the bottom of Setup in the left panel.
What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
A MIDI file, a screenshot or a log helps. Up to 3 files, 10 MB each.

What to include

  • Your Orfeo version, shown at the bottom of Setup and of the Settings window’s group list.
  • Your Windows version, and whether you use the installer or the portable build.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • If the problem is with one song, the MIDI file itself.

For bugs, Report a bug walks you through collecting everything that helps.

When to expect a reply

Orfeo is a one-person project with no fixed support hours. Every message is read, but replies can take a few days. Bugs that affect many people are fixed first and ship in the next update.

 Tip

Orfeo collects no data about you or how you use it, so the developer only learns about a problem when someone reports it. A short report really does help.
